Group K Corps 2017 18 1200x600

Dear Friends:

Thank you for your interest in K Corps—Kiwanis International’s youth exchange program for Key Clubbers and Kiwanis-family teens around the world.

Through the program, clubs, families and youth develop strong global relationships and intercultural communication skills by doing what Kiwanis members do—attending meetings, experiencing fellowship, and participating in service projects. For Kiwanis-family teens, it’s a chance to do all these things in host communities half a world away!

Now in its third year, the first cohorts consisted of Key Clubbers from across the U.S. These trailblazers explored the cultural traditions of Japan, immersed themselves in daily life by living with a local host family, and joined in for a local Kiwanis volunteer project. The three primary facets of their trip—culture, homestay, and service—comprise the backbone of the K Corps program and, naturally, the itinerary for the upcoming 2019 trip.

After a positively positive first two years (see for yourself as you browse the videos throughout the site), we can hardly wait to see how the 2019 group's experience unfolds and what new and powerful Kiwanis relationships will be forged.

Of course, Kiwanis is not limited to the U.S. and Japan, and neither is K Corps. While the nature of the program demands plenty of advance planning, we look forward to hearing from more Kiwanis Clubs (both in the U.S. and around the world) to expand both the number and diversity of participants as this inspiring celebration of Kiwanis values grows.
